I've become obsessed with genealogy - I mean it, obsessed. I'm not necessarily proud of this addiction, but I have been able to provide my family with information they didn't otherwise possess, and most have been excited and interested in my findings. So, I trudge forward. However, my obsession has now morphed into old photos of anyone - I want to find them homes. I hate going into a flea market and seeing these mementos that should be treasured being sold off for $3 and $5 a piece by someone that got them in bulk at an estate sale. A lot of these pics have names on the back. I've been able to find homes for about 3 of them so far, which was intoxicating.
Which leads me to this: Since I am obviously not a writer, I'm going to finally utilize this blog to post old photos and hopefully find their rightful owners. Without further ado, here we go!
